I couldn't have asked for anyone better to help me and my brother sell our mother's home than Jenni Bryan. We knew it would be a challenge coordinating moving, cleaning and repairing the house to get it ready to go on the market since both my brother and I live out of state. We had one week in Independence to get everything done and it all came together because of Jenni. She was right there to guide us through what we needed to do to make the house a must-buy and she was extremely considerate of the fact that this was also our family home that we were preparing to sell.
Besides being knowledgeable about the market, Jenni also had a great list of contractors who could take on the work we just couldn't finish during our marathon week. In fact, we actually had to leave town without our to-do list complete, but Jenni took it out of our hands - and off our minds - and finished it up for us. I believe it's that dedication that helped us quickly turn the house around and sell it, all within about six weeks.
Jenni also made the out-of-state closing as easy as possible since my brother and I couldn't come back to Independence for that. I never worried about having everything in place because I knew she had it covered, just as she did with every aspect of the house-selling process. She was also honest and fair in dealing with us and prospective buyers. I never felt like I was working with salesperson, but rather a person who truly cared about making us and a future homeowner happy and satisfied.
I know I'll never have to go through selling the family property like that, but if I did, I would choose Jenni Bryan to be our agent again in an instant and would absolutely recommend her to anyone who's buying or selling a home. She's one of the best you'll ever find!

It may be difficult to qualify for a home mortgage loan. As a buyer, you may find the perfect home, but finding the perfect financing might become elusive. After you complete the application process, your lender may turn you down, which is an upsetting development for any prospective homebuyer. What can be done to remedy such a setback?
The answer depends on why you were turned down. If your income is too low to satisfy one mortgage company, there might be another company with more liberal qualifying guidelines. If you have had credit problems, some lenders may be more willing than others to help you clear them up in a manner that satisfies their underwriters. If your loan runs into problems, sit down with the loan officer and your real estate agent to investigate the possibility of using a different lender. The first company may be able to "assign" the package to a competitor, enabling you to use your same credit report and appraisal. You will need the cooperation of your sellers, too.
While loan rejections are disappointing, they can be resolved.
